
Failing miserably on my cupcakes yesterday, I had to spend my last night of the week off making some decent cupcakes. These are delicious and one of my new favorites!

1. Preheat oven to 350F and line your pan.
2. Comine:
1 1/2 cups flour
1 1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp salt
Set aside.
3. Whisk together:
1/2 cup butter, softened
1 cup sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp maple extract
4. Alternate adding flour mixture and adding 1/2 cup cold milk. (flour, milk, flour, milk, flour)
5. Fill 1/2 full and bake 20-25 minutes.

Maple Buttercream frosting
1. Cream 1 cup room temperature butter with 2 3/4 cups powdered sugar.
2. Add 2 tbsp brown sugar and 2 tbsp maple syrup
